UPLB remains a top school in chemical eng’g board exam

UPLB’s 86.89% passing rate in the November 2017 Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination duplicated the University’s feat in May 2017 as a top performing school in the said exam.

Of the 61 examinees from UPLB, 53 passed the exam’s recent edition given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). To be a top performing school, one should have 50 or more examinees with at least 80% passing rate.

The national passing rate is 66.56%, with 627 passers out of 942 takers nationwide.

In a matter of two days, PRC has named UPLB a top performing school in two engineering exams, the other one being the exam for civil engineers. (Mark Jayson E. Gloria, with reports from www.prc.gov.ph)
