On March 6-9, 2008, a grand celebration awaits the constituents and the general public as the UPLB College of Agriculture (CA) observes its 99th Foundation Day.

Starting at 5:30 am, a band will be going around the campus to signal the start of the commemorative activities. UPLB officials, unit heads, invited guests and alumni will then troop to ‘Pook Pinagtatagan’ or more popularly known as the Foundation Site for a simple ceremony. After which, they will conduct a motorcade going to the Agricultural Systems Cluster (ASC)/Crop Science Cluster (CSC) open field for the official opening of the Agri-Trade Fair and Techno-Demo Exhibit.

The four-day fair/exhibit will showcase various technologies and products of different units and invited exhibitors. Likewise, a pictorial historical account of UPLBCA and the research/extension activities of the CA clusters (Agricultural Systems, Animal and Dairy Sciences, Crop Science, Crop Protection and Food Science) will be displayed.

After the ribbon cutting activity, outstanding projects, faculty, staff and students will be honored during the recognition and awarding ceremony. Launching of the CA Centennial Fund and the Hibiscus Hybrids “Women in Media and the Art Series” will also be held. An open house at the AgriPark, the Central Experiment Station (CES) and some CA units will follow. Then, there would be a Hayride wherein guests and CA constituents will be riding on tractors and other vehicles that will roam around the campus. In the evening of March 6, an open dinner and a barn dance for everyone to enjoy will be held.

A rodeo participated in by various schools will be conducted on March 7-8 at the Animal and Dairy Sciences Cluster (ADSC) grounds.

This year's activities, which are in conjunction with the U.P. centennial celebration, also bring to mind the "Los Baños Spirit" that binds the college.
