As of January 24, 2008, the Internet connection of UPLB has been fully restored to it's full capacity of 8mpbs. We also expect that the browsing experience of UPLB users will be significantly faster compared to last year. This is attributed to extensive internal cleaning done on the campus fiber-optic backbone during the downtime.

Users are encouraged to try out the VoIP services in particular as they should no longer experience any "choppiness" in communication.
