Chancellor Rex Victor O. Cruz will take his oath of office as the eighth chancellor of UPLB in simple rites that will also feature the turn-over of the UPLB mace from outgoing chancellor, Dr. Luis Rey I. Velasco, to Chancellor Cruz at the University Library Grounds on Nov. 25 at 4 PM. Expected to grace the occasion is UP President Alfredo E. Pascual.

Immediately following the turn-over and oath taking ceremonies will be the ceremonial lighting of the UPLB community Christmas tree that is traditionally set up near the main gate of the University. Everyone is invited to witness both programs.
