The University was once again recognized as the top performing school, with 15 or more examinees, in the recent licensure examination for chemical engineers held last April 20 to 22. In the said exam, UPLB garnered a passing rate of 83% wherein 24 out of 29 examinees passed, compared to the national passing rate of 45.9% (151 out of 329).
The new batch of chemical engineers will take their oath on May 29, 2010 at the Sofitel Hotel, Philippine Plaza Manila. More information on the results can be found at the PRC Website.
