The Agricultural Mechanization Development Program (AMDP) of the UPLB College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology (CEAT) will be showcasing five of its most recently developed technologies in the second Laguna Business and Investment Exposition (LBIX) on March 4. LBIX 2010 will be held from March 4 to 5 at the Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

The technologies to be presented include:
1.    the UPLB Hand Tractor, a relatively lighter yet highly functional tractor;
2.    the UPLB Corn Mill, a promising development for small time corn farmers;
3.    the UPLB Drilling Rig;
4.    Biodiesel Extraction Machines, wherein the process flow from harvest to extraction will be presented; and
5.    the Grain Drying Technology.

Dr. Victor Rodolfo, an AMDP research engineer will be conducting demonstrations for selected machines during the convention. Showcasing AMDP’s developments is an attempt of UPLB CEAT to link with potential investors to make these machines available in the Philippine market.
