The University of Tokyo-School of Science will hold the University of Tokyo Research Internship Program (UTRIP), an intensive six-week summer research experience for undergraduate students majoring in science or engineering. Participants will attend lectures conducted in English by renowned scholars and work on scientific research projects under their guidance.
Participants will be provided round-trip air tickets and full accommodation. For students from selected Asian universities, there will be a chance to get a scholarship stipend of 210,000 yen. Those who successfully complete the program and are highly rated by the faculty will be given priority for scholarship if and when they apply for the Graduate School of Science in the following year.
