The College of Public Affairs, established in 1998, emerged from various units of the University with lengthy and extensive experience in agricultural and rural development.

The College offers graduate instruction, research and extension programs that center on the study of communities in transition and their institution such as resource access, governance, policy and education, inter alia, and the intrinsic interplay among the institutions.

It offers the following graduate programs:

  • MS/Ph. D. Extension Education
  • MS/Ph. D. Agricultural Education
  • MS/Ph. D. Community Development
  • Master of Management in Development Management
  • Master in Public Affairs

CPAf is actively engaged in policy advocacy emanating from multidisciplinary cooperation that will serve as its link with the various stakeholders in the academe and the public at large.
