Atty. Roberto V. Oliva, executive director of the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity and Dr. Manuel L. The five alumni were recognized for bringing forestry to the forefront in performing public service during a tribute program for alumni and jubilarians on Apr. 20 at the Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau (ERDB) Auditorium, CFNR campus.

“These distinguished alumni are individuals who all, once upon a time, stayed and studied within CFNR’s halls and became among our country’s most commendable and most inspiring foresters, scientists, conservationists, and educators today,” said Chancellor Fernando C. Sanchez in his message that was read by Dr. Portia G. Lapitan, vice chancellor for academic affairs. “Thanks to these remarkable men and women, the CFNR has reached extraordinary heights of distinguished academic and public service excellence within and beyond UPLB.”
