The UPLB BS Electrical Engineering program has again proved its dominance as all its 36 graduates passed the April 2017 Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC)-administered board examination for electrical engineers.
To top it off, the following six passers took the top ten spots out of the 994 successful examinees: Jenny Rose V. Repollo, 2nd; Brian B. Balmores, 3rd; John Raymond B. Lumawag, 5th; Kyle U. Vosotros, 7th; Ramon E. Ednalaga, 8th; and Francis George T. Lomaad, 9th.
The BS Electrical Engineering program is one out of five undergraduate level engineering programs offered by the College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology (CEAT).
The members of the Board of Electrical Engineering who administered the examination were Engr. Francis V. Mapile, chair and Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza, member. A total of 2213 took this most recent professional board examination for electrical engineers. (JMBo)
