STC-FNPPM
The Short-term Course on Food and Nutrition Program Planning and Management (STC-FNPPM) is a three month training course conceived by RTP-FNP in 1993 as a response to the global need for trained human resource capable of effectively and strategically positioning food and nutrition in the forefront through the integration of food and nutrition considerations into key development plans and projects. It caters to professionals and trainers involved planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development programs/projects who cannot leave their posts of duty for long periods of time.
The STC-FNPPM is considered unique because of its multi-disciplinary, integrated and holistic approach that deals with issues related to food and nutrition program planning and management. Its activities features a balanced theoretical and practical learning experiences which enable the learners to test or apply new approaches and strategies
