Degree Programs
The CFNR offers a sub-professional course, two baccalaureate degrees, a diploma course, two master’s programs, and a doctoral degree.
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). The graduate training is beyond the master’s level. It is for professionals who desire to develop more adequate comprehension of the basic and advanced concepts of forest science.
- Master of Science in Forestry (MSF). Provides a comprehensive view of major fields of interest in forestry and develops the students’ ability to conduct independent research in their chosen field and related areas of knowledge. The student works on a thesis as a requirement of the course. The program could be completed in two years.
- Master of Forestry (MF). This is a non-thesis degree but a written work on a special topic is required. The student also takes up additional course units.
