The College, which was established as the Department of Agricultural Engineering under the UP College of Agriculture in 1912, is now a premier institution that provides dynamic leadership in agricultural engineering and other agro-industrial technologies.

The College pursues research collaborations with government and non-government organizations, the private sector, and international organizations towards the development of the country's engineering sector.
