The College of Agriculture is on the lookout once again for the most significant alumnus/alumna in the practice of agriculture profession.

Nominations are now open for the following categories:

• Agriculture entrepreneurship
• Science and technology
• Teaching
• Institutional organization and development
• Public service and extension
• International service and cooperation

UPLB is now laying the groundwork for the celebration of its Centennial in 2009. In line with this, the Office of Public Relations and the Office of Alumni Relations is holding the UPLB Centennial logo making contest. The use of a logo will lend a unified and strong visual identity for the publicity materials and collaterals that will be used in the celebration.

The contest is open to all UPLB students, personnel and alumni who, individually or as a group, may submit as many entries as possible. All entries, which may be rendered digitally or hand-made, should be submitted in a quarter-sized illustration board/canvass on or before August 29, 2008 at the Office of Public Relations. The entries will be exhibited from September 15-19, 2008 at the Alumni Plaza. The winning entry will be announced on Oct. 8 and launched on Oct. 9. The winner will receive P10, 000, a certificate and a Centennial memorabilia.
