The newly created Information Technology Center is gaining headway in the optimal use of information technology for the University. In a report submitted on June 2 to Dr. Ruben D. Tanqueco, vice chancellor for planning and development, Mr. Paul Patrick C. Prantilla, system administrator said that the ITC has upgraded all UPLB e-mail quota to 2GB per user and is preparing to deploy Mozilla Thunderbird in UPLB computers. Mozilla Thunderbird will make it easier to search large sets of electronic messages stored in a computer.
