Make it UPLB! This is the tagline of the UPLB Centennial Fund Campaign which now has its own space on the World Wide Web. Visit the site at http://fundcampaign.uplb.edu.ph

The website contains the goals of the campaign and invites site users to take part in making a difference for UPLB. The web pages detail each of the focal areas where the raised funds will be invested in order to provide options for donors. Indeed, there is more than one way to Make it UPLB! The website will inform more UPLB alumni and friends and facilitate their participation in the fund campaign.

On June 18, 2008, UPLB will mark the 100th founding anniversary of the University of the Philippines with series of activities slated for that day.

The day will start with UP Centennial Commemorative Tree Planting at 6:30am along Silangan Road. Dr. Fernando C. Sanchez, chair of Landscaping Management Committee, will lead this activity. Simultaneous with this, the Office of Student Affairs thru its Student Organization and Activities Division will treat the UP Centennial Freshmen with “Almusalan” at S.U. Amphitheater.
